I am a Specialist Teacher and Behavioural Therapist, based in Cape Town,

with over 20 years’ experience in the UK and South Africa

working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

 

 

SPEAK Autism is my private practice, 

offering individual specialist autism and behaviour support,

counselling, advice and social-emotional strategies,

for students and their families.

We use a wide range of well-researched, globally accepted

autism spectrum support strategies and teaching tools,

to meet the unique and specific individual needs of our clients

with autism and Asperger syndrome.


We also offer a range of autism spectrum training workshops

for parents and professionals, to develop understanding and awareness

of the autism spectrum and neurodiversity;

focusing on the strengths, differences and challenges

faced by individuals with autism

and sharing our in-depth experience

of using a range of highly effective 

autism spectrum support strategies.

SPEAK Autism advocates and uses a wide range of well researched, tried & tested, globally accepted, key autism spectrum support strategies and teaching tools for supporting and meeting the unique, individual needs of our clients with autism and Asperger syndrome and their families.

We have an eclectic approach and focus on individual strengths and differences, and meeting the unique needs of each client, whilst providing a range of developmental and relationship-based interventions, with the goal of releasing potential, increasing understanding, developing skills and independence, and consequently changing perspectives and behaviour.
